The Mignon Poupon AI Voice Printer is a voice-controlled thermal sticker printer designed specifically for children aged 5 and up. Children simply need to voice their ideas—such as "a penguin driving a race car"—and Mignon Poupon box will utilize AI technology to instantly generate and print a unique black-and-white sticker (picture or words depending on which button you press). The entire process is screen-free and ink-free, ensuring a clean, tidy experience with absolutely no mess. 

With our trained AI system, each time our machine generates a random art style picture/sentence to bring you a little surprise.

 

2.     What is the difference between the left and right buttons?

 

Press and hold the left top button, speak your mind (e.g.,"a lovely kitten"), then release the button, the machine will generate and print the picture automatically.

 

Press and hold the right top button, speak any sentence in your mind (e.g., “Today' s joyful"), then release to generate and print the words automatically.

 

3.     How should I load the paper?

 

Open the rear paper compartment cover, insert the printing paper roll in the right direction, pull the leading edge of the paper roll slightly out of the paper compartment, then close the cover. Please refer to the guide video for details.

 

4.     What is the MignonPoupon app for?

 

The MignonPoupon parent companion app helps you set up your machine, scan QR code on paper rolls to increase printing credit, view and reprint your creations, and manage your device.

 

5.     Where can I download the MignonPoupon app?

 

You can:

(1) scan the QR code on the screen when you turn on the machine for the first time, or (2) scan the code on the instruction manual,

or (3) search for "MignonPoupon" in the App Store / Google play.

 

6.     Where should I buy more paper?

 

You can purchase our official paper rolls via the "Add More Paper" module within the app, or directly purchase paper rolls on our website: mignonpoupon.com and our Tiktok official store.

 

7.     How can I increase the number of printing turns?

 

Use the "Scan QR" button in the app to scan the QR code on the paper roll to increase the turns.  Please refer to the guide video for details.

 

8.     What is the difference between the Brainstorm and Brainwave mode?

 

Brainstorm mode supports a wide variety of artistic styles, features more exquisite detailing in both backgrounds and characters, and applies a more complex linguistic logic system; however, it takes more time than Brainwave mode, generally around 14 seconds. On the other hand, Brainwave mode supports rapid response times (5-8 seconds), featuring a simplified art style paired with backgrounds adorned with cute decorative elements.

 

9.     How can I reprint the stickers I recently generated?

 

Using the "My Art Wall" module within the app, simply tap "Draw" beneath the image you wish to reprint, then follow the on-screen prompts to proceed. Please note that this feature supports printing only those images generated within your last ten sessions or those saved in "My Favorites." And reprint will consume your printing credit as well. Please refer to the guide video for details.

 

10.What should we do when the machine's screen displays "Out of Paper"?

 

(1) The most likely scenario is that the paper is loaded backwards or it is not straight in the printer, please reload the paper roll following the instruction.

(2) The paper rolls loaded is not official Mignon Poupon paper, it might cause inappropriate setup issue.

(3) The paper roll compartment cover is not fully shut.

(4) When a loaded paper roll used up, it should be replaced with a new roll.

If it’s not the scenarios listed above, please just restart the machine and it will be functional again.

 

11.What should we do when the machine's screen displays "Try Again"?

 

(1) We have set a sensitive-word blacklist to avoid inappropriate exposure for kids, especially words include violence, pornography, famous IP and politics elements. So when our machine hears sensitive words, in most cases it will automatically filter these words, and display “Try Again” on the screen to protect your kids.  

 

(2) Occasionally, the machine didn’t catch your speaking words due to noise, long time pause, extreme high voice, all the conditions beyond normal speaking voice, the machine may fail to process the voice input. In that case, please just literally try to speak to our machine again.

 

12.What are the "My Favorites" and "My Art Wall" modules within the app used for?

 

My Art Wall displays most recently 10 generated images, while My Favorites features images that have been "liked" within My Art Wall—limited to a maximum of ten entries as well.

 

13.Does Mignon Poupon require Wi-Fi?

Yes. A Wi-Fi connection or mobile hotspot is needed to generate new AI stickers and connect to the app. Once connected, you can move freely around your home within connection range.

 

14.  How to connect your Mignon Poupon machine to your WIFI?

 

Double-press the power button on the left side of the device to enter the Bluetooth pairing mode.

 

Press the "connect to Wi-Fi" button in the app, search or enter the name of your WiFi / hot spot, then enter the password of your Wi-Fi / hotspot (only supports 2.4G with strong signal), then click "Go to Bluetooth setup" at the bottom.

 

Tap the ‘scan’ button in the APP to search for the device. Select the device by clicking the device ID code and tap the ‘send’ button to complete the pairing. The APP will show a prompt notice of successfully pairing, at the meanwhile the machine will show a “press the button” screen which indicates the machine is ready to work.

15.What should I do if the Bluetooth connection process does not complete successfully?

 

Please ensure that your Wi-Fi network or personal hotspot is set to the 2.4GHz band. Most routers typically broadcast both 2.4GHz and 5GHz signals simultaneously. We recommend moving closer to your Wi-Fi router; sometimes, a weak signal can interfere with the setup process.

16.Can I use a language other than English?

 

For now, Mignon Poupon boxes only support English and Mandarin Chinese. Further language packs are on the way.

 

17.What should I do if the print looks faint?

 

(1)     Reload the paper roll or replace it with a new one.

(2)     Wipe the rubber roller located at the top of the door with a clean cloth.

(3)     When storing paper, avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight.

 

18.How do I resolve a paper jam?

 

Occasionally, a paper jam may occur when the paper roll is nearly empty. If this happens, simply replace the roll with a new one.

 

If the paper roll is jammed by bumpy paper surfaces, please roll out the bumpy part of the paper and shut the compartment cover then try again.

 

19.How do I tear off the sticker?

 

Once the machine finished printing, please hold the top of the sticker paper and quickly pull it toward the screen side. The paper will then tear cleanly along the plastic serrated edge. Pulling quickly and at a slight angle helps ensure the neatest cut. You may need to use your other hand to hold down the Mignon Poupon device to keep it steady. The serrated edge handles the entire tearing process, so children won't need to use scissors at all! (However, we may launch plastic stickers in the future, by then you may need scissors to cut them up.)

20.Does Mignon Poupon use ink or toner?

 

Neither! It requires neither ink nor toner—and certainly no cartridges. Mignon Poupon utilizes thermal printing technology: tiny heating elements react with specially coated paper to produce crisp, sharp black-and-white images. The entire process is completely clean and mess-free; the only consumable you ever need to replace is the paper roll.

22.What does thermal printing mean exactly, and is it child-safe?

 

Thermal printing is a printing technology that transfers patterns and images onto specially coated paper by means of thermal energy without the use of ink. This mature technology has been widely applied in receipt printers and label printers and has long been recognized by the industry.

 

Mignon Poupon thermal printing involves no ink contact or chemical exposure during use, and there are no high-temperature surfaces that may cause scald risks to children. Our thermal paper is completely free of BPA and BPS, safe for children to hold, doodle on and paste at will.

 

23.Does the Mignon Poupon need any ink refills?

 

No, you don’t need to. Mignon Poupon adopts thermal printing technology, so you’ll never need to change ink cartridges or toner at all. The only supply you’ll need is paper rolls, and each roll has 40 stickers. You can also buy 5-pack refills, which include around 200 stickers in total, directly from our official website.

 

24.Why doesn’t Mignon Poupon print stickers in color?

 

Thermal printers naturally produce clear black-and-white prints only, so we designed our product based on the technology. These monochrome stickers are meant to be colored by hand, turning every print into a double creative activity. Kids first picture their idea and share it, then fill in the stickers with their own colors. It lets little ones enjoy hands-on creativity the whole time, with no extra screen time at all.

 

25.Do thermal stickers lose their color over time?

 

Thermal printed items may gradually fade if left for a long time in hot conditions, direct sunlight, or close to chemical substances. This applies to every kind of thermal paper on the market.

 

To preserve your stickers well, keep unopened paper rolls in a cool, dry spot and out of the sun. After kids color them in with pencils, the colored layer will actually help shield the thermal print from fading.

 

26.Can I use regular thermal paper with MignonPoupon machine?

No. Mignon Poupon is specially designed to work only with official Mignon Poupon paper rolls. Using other paper types may affect print quality, damage the printer, and void the warranty.

All official paper rolls are BPA-free and BPS-free for a safer creative experience.
